After four years of planning, I thought it was about time to start blogging. (Better late than never, right?) Let’s start with Vaishna and Gajan’s sweet and romantic Westin Prince wedding reception. From our first consultation to their big day, Vaishna and Gajan were a joy to be around. You can tell by the images that they are beautiful people, inside and out.

The design inspiration for the event was blush and gold with soft romantic accents. I loved how Vaishna’s blush gown paired with her bouquet of blush roses and white phalaenopsis orchids.

For over a year, I worked with Vaishna and Gajan to design an event with modern visual details, including tons of candle light, soft draping, and stationery with clean lines and rosette accents. The florals also fit within the blush and gold theme by using soft pink roses and white phalaenopsis orchids with flecks of yellow. We tapped into my styling rentals collection and used my gold antique frame for the Welcome Sign, bud vases for cocktail tables, and gold “love” script for the sweetheart table. Heartwarming design was part of each guest’s place card, which included a sentimental detail that the couple found “awesome” about that person. This was also a nod to a sweet tradition between V + G while they were dating.

After guests were treated to a choreographed dance entrance by the couple, everyone enjoyed a delicious Indian dinner by The Host. Untouchable Sound Crew then kept the party going all night. (These two can dance!) Thanks to the vendor team who made this Westin Prince wedding happen.
